Hey, thanks for stopping by to find out a bit more about me.

If you haven’t guessed it already, my name is Daniel McLoughlin and I’m an Azure Developer from North Yorkshire, England.

I call myself an ‘Azure Developer’ although my job title is currently ‘Public Cloud Systems Developer’. Both of these titles are fairly ambiguous, but it’s safe to say that I’m a Developer that works with all things Microsoft Azure!

If you’re wondering what an Azure Developer is, check out my article.

I’m a Microsoft Certified Azure Developer and DevOps Engineer and consider myself to be a Serverless Advocate.

I work for a Tier-1 Microsoft CSP and take lead on cloud systems/software development, automation and reporting. I’m also heavily involved in Microsoft Partner Center automation and tooling.

My posts in this blog will mainly talk about my day to day experiences with both code and Microsoft technologies. I may also share articles written by others that I’ve found to be really useful.

My primary development stack includes Python, PowerShell and JavaScript (including the MERN stackMongo / Express / React / Node).

We don’t all use C# you know!

My preferred serverless technologies are currently Azure Function Apps, Azure Web Apps and CosmosDB.
